Monthly goals are what drive the actions I take in my business each month. It takes time to create and define them. Then I have to schedule how I am going to complete each goal.
1. Finish The 30 Day Blogging Challenge and Start the Email Course From The CEO Teacher School
I finished almost the whole blogging challenge, which is awesome because I had a finished article to submit. Team Kayse is organizing us into groups so we can share links to each other’s articles. This will help with Google’s ranking. I paused my blogging challenge course last month so I could watch as much of TpT Forward as possible.
I also want to start the Email Course.
2. Finish Units 1 & 2 in My Grammar Interactive Notebook
I am hoping now that I have spent so much time planning this out and starting creation and templates that this will be easier this month. I am not sure what I will actually get done on this big project.
3. Fix Resources: Check my revision and editing checklists, revise my Black History resources, and fix the SEO on my Life Skills resources
This task is currently hanging over my head. I scheduled the first two days of August to finish up my blog posts and the next two days to work on these resources.
4. Post My Lead Magnet
This going to be my third task in August. I am going to be having my husband help me. He works in IT so technology comes more easily to him than me. I want to create a landing page in MailerLite so it is easy for subscribers to find my opt-in form. However, because I need to integrate parts of my website with it I need some help.
5. Batch My August YouTube Videos and September Blogs
I love batching and I hate it. It makes it so much easier to put content out there on schedule, but it’s not fun to write so many blogs and videos all at once. But I’m going to do it.
6. Make $100 on TpT
Old Goals That I Don’t Want to Be My Focus
These are some goals I was setting each month, but I don’t want them to be my focus anymore.
1. Read a Business Book
I love reading business and personal growth books. Especially since I read by listening to an audiobook. I usually do this on walks and it’s not something I feel like I need to schedule in or rush. I still want to do it, but I don’t think I need to prioritize it like my other goals.
2. Grow My Instagram
I have developed a schedule and plan for Instagram over the last few months. I have started to use a scheduler. I don’t want to focus on Instagram growth. I am hoping that as I work on sticking to my schedule I will see organic growth from people who are my audience.
3. Taking an Online Professional Development Course
I love taking these classes because they help inspire product creation. However, I spent a lot of time last month consuming content so this month I want to focus on creating content.
